Oasis Community Church is a vibrant, modern, evangelical Methodist congregation with a heart for its community. With around 80 members from diverse backgrounds, we are searching for a visionary leader who will guide us in deepening our faith and broadening our reach, in the name of Jesus. As our leader, you will inspire and equip us to grow as disciples and to embody God’s mission in our everyday lives.
The ideal candidate is:
- An inspiring and discerning leader: willing to cast vision for ministry, grounded in Scripture and led by the Holy Spirit, to influence others.
- A compassionate pastor: offering care, guidance, and encouragement.
- An able communicator: in preaching, teaching, or engaging in one-on-one conversations, aware of the need to influence others.
- A leader who appreciates the need to nurture spiritual growth and encourage leadership, fostering a culture where every member feels empowered to serve.
This is an opportunity to grow as a leader and serve a congregation whilst enjoying the support of a committed leadership team and church council. The Church has considerable missionary potential and we hope you will be ready, by embracing change to lead us into God’s will for the future.
